No.10: Affairs of the Nikken sect Priests and Believers

For twenty years at the head temple, what has this man studied? Shinwa Goto, at the time of the incident he was thirty-one years old.

He joined the priesthood after Nikken became the high priest as one of the first group of priests and was Nikken's favorite. He was known as the most brilliant staff at the editorial office of “Dai Nichiren” (priesthood publication), was arrested on October 5, 1998. He picked up “two” junior high school students at a telephone club in Fuji City and took them to a hotel in broad day light and engaged in indecent activities.

He confessed that to gain sexual saisfaction he assaulted the girls one by one keeping one girl in the corner of the room while he was toying around with the other.

gotoWhile the local police was investigating Goto, he was suspected of another incident involving an assault in Numazu. He was identified as the look-alike of a man who pushed a female high school student on her way home from school into his car and sexually assaulted her in a hotel room. The female student sustained injury that took two weeks to recover. The Numazu police arrested him at the time Goto was released from the Fuji police. This whole incident was widely publicized.

What kind of a man is he? No wonder, he is a veteran with twenty-years of training at the Taiseki-ji temple where some of the student priests serve their duties at the Taibo building while watching adult videos. At the same time, it is befitting for Goto to be the number one disciple of Nikken who became famous for the Seattle incident.

In June of that same year, another occurence involved Shouden Sudo (of Jyousen-ji temple in Tokyo). Driving without a license and totally inebriated, drove his female's friend's vehicle into a private house.

In December, Houyu Oohashi was found guilty for embezzling the contribution to Taiseki-ji temple and was dismissed from the priesthood. He spent the majority of the money on numerous relationship with women.

Finally, let's introduce an incident involving a Nichiren Shoshu believer. In September 1998, a newspaper reported “Forty-four year old man arrested for taking lewed photos inside girl's skirts. Toshihiro Kuwahara (Kyosetsu-ji temple in Fukuoka's vice representative of the lay believers) was arrested in the very act of taking suspicius photographs at the stairwell landing at the JR Orio station. Police received reports from female students regarding the suspicious picture taking. In the stake-out, the JR police officers” apprehended Kuwahara just as he snuck quietly behind the young female students and was about to take a flash photo from an angle peeking into the girl's mini skirt.

How troublesome to have an anti-social religious organization cause one indecent problems after another.
